the story behind simply alice

Hi! I'm Allyssa, the maker behind simply alice candle co. I started on this journey five years ago as a lockdown hobby, in my second year of nursing school — fascinated by the ways scent is so deeply tied to memory, I began with the hope of bringing memories of joy, adventure, and comfort into my home.

I went back to nursing after my degree… and then I retired from nursing to follow my passion. When I'm not pouring candles, you'll likely find me with a good book in hand, exploring local shops, dreaming up new scent ideas, or finding inspiration in the places and stories that surround me.

My goal is to create products that feel both personal and timeless. Whether you're lighting a candle to unwind, celebrate, or simply add warmth to your space, I'm so glad you're here — and grateful to be a small part of your story. xoxo
